Now that you know how to turn the computer on and off, it is time to take a closer look at what is on it. We will be discussing the options available to you on the Start Menu and Control Panel, opening programs, and how to navigate folders and files. This month, we will be adding some summer beach flair to a planter using sea glass and clay. All supplies provided.
Protect yourself (and the planet!) by making a chainmail cuff out of recycled pop tabs.
The Epic Quest Begins at your Library!
Children 8-12 can participate in our Epic Summer Reading program with weekly one-hour programs!
Summer is a great time for epic fantasy blockbusters. Help make your own fantastic short film with our stop-motion kit!
You may not have a magic wand to make whatever you want, but our LittleBits program lets you use the 'magic' of technology to create working robots, cars, and other electronics. Modern quests require modern gadgets, so use your spy mind to experiment and play... no wand required.
Make your Summer even more magical with your own unicorn horn headband! Add a little sparkle to your day with this quirky craft.
Decorate and create a paper pop up castle card. Keep the card for yourself, or give it away as a gift when you’re done!
Create origami from some of your favorite action and adventure worlds, like Hogwarts, and Hyrule. Make a chocolate frog, a Legend of Zelda bookmark, and even a dragon (if you're brave!).
Epic quests become epic films. As we near the end of our Summer Reading quest, join us for a movie night to participate in another adventure. Popcorn will be provided!
Make your own soap! Choose a scent and color combination to create your own jewel shaped bar of soap.
