January's film workshop will focus on makeup!
Learn how to create special character effects with stage makeup! Stage makeup can change the appearance of an actor to fit their character's needs. Participants in this workshop will get a chance to try their hand at changing their appearance with theatrical styling techniques.
No experience is necessary, and registration is not required.
Afterschool Crew is for children ages 6 to 12. This program is available on Thursday afternoon at 4:45 p.m. It is a 60-minute program that runs for six week sessions from January 4th- February 8th. These meetings will include a variety of crafts, games, and activities.

You know the very basics of computer operations - now join us for a more in-depth look at the inner workings of the computer. Learn about storage devices, creating and saving documents, making new folders, and downloading and uploading data. Some previous experience with computers is preferred.

When you need to learn something, where do you go? December’s Homeschool Hour will discuss resources here at the library, online databases, and how to find information on almost anything! Take a tour with us through our children’s non-fiction section to learn where you can find books on some of your favorite topics.
Registration for winter storytimes at the Eaton branch begins on Friday, December 1st at 9:00 am.
The programs offered are:
Mother Goose Baby Storytime is for children ages 6 months to 3 years on Wednesdays at 10:30 am or Thursdays at 10:30 am or 2:00 pm. This is a 30-minute class.
Library Mice Preschool Storytime is for children 3 years old to kindergarten. This class is available on Wednesdays or Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. or Thursday afternoon at 4:45 p.m. This is a 45-minute class.
Library Mice Preschool Storytime is designed to encourage your child's interest and enjoyment of books and stories as well as increase your child's recognition and use of appropriate vocabulary for such items as colors, numbers and directions. We present our program through storytelling, finger plays, group songs/rhymes and more. In addition, each storytime contains a craft project that either compliments or directly plays into the subject of that storytime.
