Library Mice Preschool Storytime

Library Mice Preschool Storytime is designed to encourage your child's interest and enjoyment of books and stories as well as increase your child's recognition and use of appropriate vocabulary for such items as colors, numbers and directions. We present our program through storytelling, finger plays, group songs/rhymes and more. In addition, each storytime contains a craft project that either compliments or directly plays into the subject of that storytime.

Tween Film Workshop

This monthly program will allow young filmmakers the opportunity to learn more about the production process, without the time commitment of our Tween Filmmakers Club.

November's film workshop will focus on  acting!

When it comes to film, on-screen work is just as important as what happens behind the scenes. Use this workshop to pick up some tips and tricks for acting in front of a camera (or on stage!).

No experience is necessary, and registration is not required.

*This program is intended for ages 8-12*

Teens - Hamilton Party

Celebrate the Five Dollar Founding Father with our own tribute to A. Ham.

The party (for grades 6-12) will include trivia about the broadway show, as well as the historical figure himself. There will be a lyric knowledge quiz, a sing a long opportunity, and a special Hamilton t-shirt decoration craft.

*Please bring a plain shirt in your size to decorate for the craft!*

Note: Due to the popularity of this program, advance registration is required.

Join us for LEGO Club! School-age children can come in and build, complete challenges and just have fun! The program will meet on the last Monday of the month, from 4 pm- 5 pm.

*Children can build with the library's LEGO collection . If you bring LEGOs from home to build with, please bring them in a container labeled with your child's name.
