Teen Book Club - Avalon

May's Teen Book Club selection will be Avalon by Mindee Arnett!

Of the various star systems that make up the Confederation, most lie thousands of light-years from First Earth. The agencies that govern the Confederation are as corrupt as the crime bosses who patrol it. Metatech devices provide power to anyone with enough greed and ruthlessness to claim it.

LEGO Club

Join us for LEGO Club at the Eaton Library! School-age children can come in and build, complete challenges, and just have fun! The program will meet on the last Monday of the month from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Children can build with the library's LEGO collection. If you bring LEGOs from home to build with, please bring them in a container labeled with your child's name.

Family Storytime Night!

Help us celebrate Children's Book Week (April 29th- May 5th) by joining us for this multi-age, family storytime! We'll read some well-loved children's books, sing songs, and make a fun craft. Families can come dressed comfortably in their PJs!

Internet Basics

Join us to learn about the very basics of the Internet. We will cover Web browsers, how to navigate to a website, clicking links and some basic searching. Some basic computer experience highly preferred. Visit the library or call 937-456-5562 to sign up.

Beginners' Publisher

Join us to learn the basics of desktop publishing with Microsoft Publisher. We will cover things like formatting, text boxes, customization and inserting pictures from the computer and the Internet. Some previous computer experience is strongly preferred. Call 937-456-5562 or visit the library to sign up.

Tween Filmmakers Club

Our Tween Filmmakers Club is back for another fun film-creating session!

Tweens (ages 8-12) will be creating their very own short film from start to finish! Club members will be responsible for storyboarding, costume designing, script writing, filming, acting, and editing - plus anything else their film may need! This program includes hands-on lessons with a sewing machine, DSLR camera, editing software, and more!
