Families

Create, Explore and More!

We're off to the races! The Eaton library is hosting another Create, Explore & More program, but this time the theme is the derby! Families can delve into our different creative and exploratory stations together. We'll play a racing game using dice, design fancy hats, and much more!

Drop-in from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and have fun as a family. There is something for everyone! (You too, parents!)

Special Story Time

This Single Story Time event is open to children of all ages, with no registration required! The program will feature local teenagers as guest storytellers, presenting picture books that they have written and illustrated themselves.

This is a wonderful opportunity for both age groups, and a great chance for children to hear one-of-a-kind stories!

2018 Author Con

The Eaton Library is hosting 10 area authors, illustrators, and photographers for its first Author Convention! There will be plenty of time to meet and talk with the authors, as well as attend panel discussions about their writing lives.

We'll also have free popcorn, crafts for the kids, and you'll have the opportunity to purchase books from the authors themselves.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 26th.

Here's who'll be there:

Droid Inventor

Now is your chance to join the Resistance as a droid engineer!

Help the library build an electronic droid like the ones in Star Wars.

This program will use the littleBits Droid Inventor Kit and a special app to create a robot that can move, beep, and even record secret messages!
