The Mothman Experience

It is the time of the year for the creepy and unusual...and in keeping with jack-o-lanterns and trick or treaters, we bring you a program sure to please young and old!

The Mothman Experience @ the Eaton Library will happen Saturday Oct 26th at 1 pm,  with investigators  John and Marsha from the Southern Ohio Supernatural (SOS).  Besides  investigating all sorts of paranormal phenomena like  ghosts, spirits, and Sasquatch, they also look into reports of UFO's ...and Cryptids like Mothman!

The Mothman arrived at the sleeply little town of Point Pleasant in West Virginia along the Ohio river in 1966 and is today one of the most well-known cryptids in the world. A moth-like man-creature with red eyes that swoops through the air terrorizing everyone who sees him, he was made famous partly by John Keel's book (later adapted to film), The Mothman Prophecies, and was also hunted in the program, Mountain Monsters on Destination America. Recent claims of sightings have occurred!

Tonight, we learn historical details of Mothman sightings and what these sightings might mean.
