Storytime Registration Begins TODAY!

Registration for our spring session of storytime begins today! Our storytime programs are designed to encourage your child's interest and enjoyment of books and stories as well as increase your child's recognition and use of appropriate vocabulary for such items as colors, numbers and directions. We present our program through storytelling, finger plays, group songs/rhymes and more. In addition, each storytime contains a small craft project that either compliments or directly plays into the subject of that storytime.

  • The programs offered are Mother Goose Baby & Toddler Time which is for children ages 6 months to 3 years on Wednesdays at 10:30 am, Thursdays at 10:30 am or 2:00 pm. This is a 30-minute class.

  • Library Mice Preschool Storytime is for children 3 years-old, to kindergarten. This class is available on Wednesday or Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. or Thursday afternoon at 4:45 p.m. This is a 45-minute class.

  • Also, After School Crew is a program for children ages 6 to 12 years old. Children can try their hand at a variety of activities such as, testing out art techniques, explore technologies, or just have fun with a game! This program runs for 1 hour.

The spring session will run from March 7th- April 12th.  There are seven PCDL branches and program schedules vary, so residents are advised to call their local branch to see what programs are being offered. Call PCDL at 456-4331, or email the Youth Department at with any questions.
