February's Teen Book Club selection with be A Song for Ella Grey by David Almond!
"I'm the one who's left behind. I'm the one to tell the tale. I knew them both...knew how they lived and how they died."
A Song for Ella Grey is a retelling of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. It is written in lyrical prose, and weaves a story that combines history and modernity, poetry and myth.
*Registration is required for this event*
Students in grades 6-12 are welcome to sign up for Teen Book Club at the Eaton Library. There will be 10 spots available each month. A free copy of that month’s book will be available to participants when they register. Book Club members are expected to finish the book before our scheduled meeting at the end of the month. Our reading selections will vary by genre, topic, and age. Some young adult books may contain mature themes, so reader discretion is advised.
