Teen Book Club - Avalon
May's Teen Book Club selection will be Avalon by Mindee Arnett!
Of the various star systems that make up the Confederation, most lie thousands of light-years from First Earth. The agencies that govern the Confederation are as corrupt as the crime bosses who patrol it. Metatech devices provide power to anyone with enough greed and ruthlessness to claim it.
Teenage mercenaries have survived in this world by stealing unsecured metatech. All Jeth cares about is earning enough money to buy back his parents' ship, Avalon, and getting himself and his sister, Lizzie, out. But when Jeth finds himself in possession of information that both the crime bosses and the government are willing to kill for, he is going to have to ask himself how far he'll go to get the freedom he's wanted for so long.
Sign up in advance to receive a free copy of the book to read before the program!

Registration is open monthly, and only applies to that specific session.
Please read the book in its entirety before the scheduled meeting. This program is available for grades 6-12, but YA titles may contain mature themes and language, so parental discretion is advised.*
