It's summer, and the Eaton library has plenty for you to do! Each week will bring with it a new, fun music themed event, from puppet plays, to a lip-sync concert! There will also be stories, jokes, dancing and a craft! You can catch the programs on Wednesday mornings 10 am, or the same program on Thursday afternoons at 2 pm.

International gold medalist juggler, Matt Jergens has been making audiences laugh for over eighteen years. His show involves electrifying routines that showcase the talents of one of the top jugglers around. He fills the stage with flying pins, spinning plates, a tall unicycle, and a multitude of other unique props.

Experiment and create in our March Homeschool Hour!
This program will give students a chance to think outside the box with their artwork. We will discuss art made from found or recycled items, and get a chance to create our own sculptures out of recycled materials! This program will be unique, exciting, and environmentally friendly. Let’s build something new!

It's your lucky day! The Eaton library is hosting another Create, Explore & More program, but this time the themes are green, gold and rainbows! Families can delve into our different creative and exploratory stations together. We'll make a pot of gold slime, explore simple science activities, and much more!
Drop-in from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and have fun as a family. There is something for everyone! (You too, parents!)
After School Crew is the Storytime counterpart for ages 6-12. This group is designed to encourage education, exploration, creation, and teamwork. Meetings may include a mix of games, crafts, science experiments, and other play-based activities. Each After School Crew session meets for six weekly programs from 4:45-5:45 on Thursday evenings.
After School Crew is intended to help build phonological awareness, print motivation, vocabulary, problem solving, creativity, and communication skills in elementary-aged children.
The Tween Film Workshop for April will focus on story-making!
Use prompts and challenges to build fantasy worlds, characters, and storylines. The goal in story-making is to be as inventive as possible!
This program is intended for ages 8-12. Registration is not required.
Our Tween Film Workshop for March will focus on the amazing world of sound!
Challenges include making sound effects, vocal recordings, and music. Participants will get to try their hand at Foley- one of the most creative aspects of filmmaking!

The Maker Space is a room full of new technology with open access to all ages. All equipment and assistance is free. Learn digital design, photography, sewing, and more with free access to this equipment. Bring your own consumables, such as fabric and paper. Some materials can be purchased for a fee.
