SUMMARY:Tween & Teen Zine: Accepting Submissions!
DESCRIPTION:Do you like to write\, draw\, or create art? We would love to showcase your work! Artists and writers in grades 6-12 can submit 2D art\, short stories\, poetry\, and more to be included in the publication of the Preble County District Library Tween & Teen Zine! Submissions accepted beginning October 20. \nSubmission Guidelines- For Tweens & Teens Grades 6-12\nThe theme for our first issue is: “I am Human” \nYou may submit up to a total of 5 of the following genre categories*:  \n\nPoems of no more than 1000 words total.\n 2D art: submit digital copies if possible. If not\, we can scan the original piece.\nShort story of no more than 1000 words in length.\nWant to submit something different? Keep it to no more than 3 pages total\, or contact us for more information!\n\n*Limit of 5 submissions for review per person. NO guarantee that any or all will be selected. \nSubmission Guidelines: \n\nAll submissions must be original and your own work\, but partnerships are allowed! (Submissions made primarily using AI will not be considered.)\nWe do not want to limit our patrons’ creativity\, but be aware that this publication is intended for all audiences. Submissions must be mindful of language\, the use of graphic violence and abuse\, and the depiction of harmful stereotypes based on age\, race\, religion\, gender\, sexual orientation\, and mental/physical disabilities.\nAll entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form (ask at your PCDL branch).\nAll entries must be submitted to your PCDL branch or emailed to youthservices@preblelibrary.org by November 20\, 2026.\nQuestions?
