West Alexandria Branch Closed for Oktoberfest

The West Alexandria Branch Library will be closed on Saturday, October 10th. But don’t despair—come out and see us in the Oktoberfest Parade!

After the parade be sure to visit the Friends of the West Alexandria Library Book Sale. Please note our location in the park has changed and we will be at the back of the park this year. There you will be able to browse a large selection of items including nonfiction and fiction, magazines, CD’s, DVD’s, children’s books, books for teens and so much more. All items are sold by donation. Money is used to help with additional programming needs.

Be sure to pick up our October and November programming calendar so you know everything that is happening. We will have information about many things the library offers.

New to the Festival this year on Sunday, October 11th, is Oktobefest Kandy Trail from 3:30-5:30 pm and of course we will be handing out goodies at our booth.

So be sure to stop in and see your local librarians, get information to stay informed and take home some new items.
