Sprout Backpacks

Preble County District Library makes learning easy and fun with Sprout Learning Backpacks. These backpacks are brimming with high-quality early learning materials, books, and activities with easy-to-follow activity guides that make learning fun! Each backpack is themed and typically includes several picture books, two to four educational games or toys, and an activity guide showing how to use the items to help promote school readiness. The activity guides provide easy-to-follow instructions, tips for in-home connections, and various ideas to stimulate conversation that supports learning. They give parents and caregivers easy-to-follow activities and in-home suggestions to make learning fun and easy. All materials are developmentally appropriate for young children and teach valuable concepts children need to know for school success: talking, singing, reading, writing, and learning.
